Dennis Disraeli Blacklaws is a qualified Gemologist - Diamond-Grader and jewellery appraiser, serving New Zealand from his office and Laboratory in Lower Hutt, New Zealand.
A professional within the jewellery industry since 1970,

Dennis incorporated his Company Dennis Blacklaws Ltd in 1978 and later opened and operated his practice as a Jewellery Appraiser in 1979.
He earned his Diamond Grading Certificate after studing and attending the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) campus in Santa Monica - California (USA) in 1981.

He earned his (GIA) Coloured Stone qualifications and became a Gemologist (GIA) in 1982.

In 1983 He became Diploma Charter Member of the G.I.A. Alumni Association U.S.A. after he had earned his G.G. (GIA) Graduate Gemologist Diploma U.S.A. in 1983.

Dennis was awarded his Ch Sr.Mem (N.A.J.A.) Charter Senior member designation of the 'National Association of Jewelry Appraisers' (USA) ® credential also in 1983.

Dennis participated in the 2011 developement Appraisers International Society™ (Ai-Core) and succesfully completed the subscribed courses and earned by examniation the Appraisers International Senior Valuer (AiSV) and Acredited International Valuer (AiV) appelations.

Dennis operates and owns 'NewZealand Diamond and Precious Stone Laboratory', trading as GEMLINK which is a 'state-of-the-art' equipped Laboratory. Dennis Blacklaws is highly respected with-in the Jewelley appraisal profession, having attained top-level credentials from  three professional appraisal and Gemological and international organizations.
