Dennis Disraeli Blacklaws is a qualified Gemologist - Diamond-Grader and an Internationally qualified
jewellery Appraiser, serving New Zealand from his office and Laboratory in Lower Hutt, New Zealand.
A professional within the jewellery industry since 1970,

Dennis incorporated his Company Dennis Blacklaws Ltd in 1978 and later opened and operated his practice as a Jewellery Appraiser in 1979.
He earned his Diamond Grading Certificate after studing and attending the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) campus in Santa Monica - California (USA) in 1981.

He earned his (GIA) Coloured Stone qualifications and became a Gemologist (GIA) in 1982.

In 1983 Dennis became Diploma Charter Member of the G.I.A. Alumni Association U.S.A. after he had earned his G.G. (GIA) Graduate Gemologist Diploma U.S.A. in 1983.

Dennis was awarded his Ch Sr.Mem (N.A.J.A.) Charter Senior member designation of the 'National Association of Jewelry Appraisers' (USA) ® credential also in 1983.

Dennis has also succesfully completed the Appraisers International Society™ (Ai-Core) subscribed
courses for the 2011 development offering and earned by examination the following
Appraisers International Senior Valuer A.i.S.V. and Acredited International Valuer A.i.V. appelations.

Dennis also succesfully completed the Appraisers International Society™ (Ai-Core) subscribed courses and earned by examination the following the appelation A.i.S.-A.V.S. Advanced Valuation Specialist'
(3) course series for the 2012 development offering, and earned by examination the following;
 'Advanced and Regulated Appraisal Assignments' AiS-Law 
'IRS & Multi-Jurisdictional Revenue Appraisals'  AiS-Tax 
'Personalty Trial Expert Witness - Trial Consultant - Document Reviewer' AiS-Tew™ 

Dennis has succesfully completed the Appraisers International Society™ (Ai-Core)
Advanced Diploma title 2012/13 developement program and earned by examination the appelation  A.i.S.C.V.

Dennis operates and owns 'NewZealand Diamond and Precious Stone Laboratory', trading as GEMLINK which is a 'state-of-the-art' equiped Laboratory. Dennis Blacklaws is highly respected with-in the Jewelley appraisal profession, having attained top-level credentials from  five professional appraisal and Gemological and international Appraisal organizations.
