Age and Appearance of Jewellery
As with all items of value caring for them to look their best is one of life’s necessities. We offer a ‘Warrant of Fitness’ service for your precious items which may require maintenance, repair or replacement of component parts.
Jewellery in Top Condition
To keep your jewellery in top condition it is a duty of care requirement and due diligence for any third parties e.g. insurance companies.
Often valuation reports and appraisals will comment on the overall condition of the item including mounts and settings.
Helpful Advice and Repairs
A ‘Warrant of Fitness’ for jewellery should be carried out and items checked and signed off annually. If you notice any of your items ‘catching’ on clothing or gemstones which are loose and not secured, take the time to have them viewed by a professional.
We are only too happy to give advice to avoid further costly repairs and disappointment.
In the event of a loss, accident or damage to your item, your insurer or other third party, will know exactly the condition the item was in before any loss or damage occurred.
Dennis D, Blacklaws offers a full service for repairs and advice on the maintenance of your items.
